Dear Valued Customer,
Greetings!
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing secure and efficient email services, we would like to bring to your attention Microsoft’s end of support (EOL) for older Outlook versions.
Outlook Versions No Longer Supported:
- Outlook 2007
- Outlook 2010
- Outlook 2013
- Outlook 2016
- Outlook 2019 (End of support on October 14, 2025 – approaching soon)
These versions have reached end-of-life and therefore:
- No longer receive security updates or bug fixes
- Do not have access to Microsoft technical assistance
- Face increasing compatibility issues with Microsoft 365 and other services
Why This Matters:
Continuing to use unsupported versions may expose your organization to:
- Security vulnerabilities
- Performance and stability issues
- Risk of email service disruptions
Recommended Action:
We strongly recommend that all customers upgrade to a supported version of Microsoft Outlook or use an alternative supported email client.
[] Supported Microsoft Outlook Versions:
- Outlook from Microsoft 365 (always updated)
- Outlook 2021 (latest perpetual version)
[] Alternative Email Clients (fully supported with our mail platforms):
- Mozilla Thunderbird (Windows/Mac/Linux – free & regularly updated)
- eM Client (Windows/Mac – commercial, Outlook-like interface)
- Zimbra Desktop Client (for Zimbra mail users)
- Trident / Windows Mail app (bundled with Windows, basic support)
Using the latest clients ensures:
- Optimal performance
- Compliance with latest standards
- Ongoing protection against vulnerabilities
For assistance with upgrading or configuring an alternative client, please reach out to your IT/software support team.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping your email communication safe, secure, and reliable.
